IOP/3-2015/NCE/1 The Republic of Serbia has received a loan from the European Investment Bank and Council of Europe Development Bank toward the cost of the Project: Public Sector Research and Development, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Sub-project: New Capital Equipment. The Government of the Republic of Serbia, on 22nd of July 2010, passed the Decision to establish a company &bdquo;PIU Research and Development Ltd. Belgrade&rdquo; for managing the project that concerns a series of investments aimed at revitalising the country&rsquo;s public Research and Development activity. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development as the Project promoter and responsible for its implementation and PIU Research and Development Ltd. Belgrade as the Purchaser, now invite eligible bidders for the &ldquo;Procurement of Capital Equipment&ldquo;. Pursuant to Art.7, para.1, item 2 (2) of the Public Procurement Law RS 124/2012 and 14/2015, respectively pursuant to Finance Contract between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank dated 4th of March 2010 and the European Investment Bank&rsquo;s policy described in the EIB Guide to Procurement <a target="_blank" href="http://www.eib.org/projects/publications/guide-to-procurement" class="ojshref">http://www.eib.org/projects/publications/guide-to-procurement</a>, PIU Research and Development Ltd. Only authorised representatives of Bidder&rsquo;s may be actively involved in the procedure of opening bids.
